Electronic logistics mgt info system pilots in Capiz

ROXAS City – Capiz is the first province in the country chosen to test the Electronic Logistics Management Information System (eLMIS) of the Department of Health (DOH).

In partnership with the United States Agency for International Development – Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (USAID MTaPS) Program, this integrated software solution will help DOH streamline its medicines and equipment supply.

It will centralize inventory and distribution of DOH medicines, vaccines, medical devices and equipment nationwide from DOH warehouses and hubs to local government units’ health centers.

Gov. Fredenil Castro thanked the DOH and USAID for choosing the province as pilot area for the eLMIS.

The grand launching of the eLMIS was held on Tuesday, June 20.
