ILOILO – A 66-year-old businessman was found dead in Barangay Luca, Ajuy, Iloilo on Saturday morning, June 24.
Neilo Saul, a fish trader and retired seaman, temporarily resided in the barangay.
Saul’s worker found him near the fence behind their house lying with a scar on his left arm, according to Police Lieutenant General Enrique Robles, chief of the Ajuy Municipal Police Station (MPS), in an interview with Aksyon Radyo Iloilo.
No firearm or weapon was recovered in the area, added Robles.
The victim’s wallet and .45 pistol were missing, initial police investigation showed.
Robles said they were waiting for the autopsy results.
The police were looking at personal grudges or theft as possible motives and already had a person of interest./PN
