ROXAS City – For two years in a row, the city government of Roxas got an Unmodified Opinion—Highest Audit Rating from the Commission on Audit (COA) for its 2022 financial statement.
According to the COA, an unmodified opinion (also called an unqualified opinion) is issued when the auditor concludes that the financial statements are prepared, in all material respects, as per the applicable financial reporting framework.
“It is a back-to-back win for the administration to again receive the highest audit rating from COA,” Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said.
He also commended the Finance Team of the Roxas City Government and vowed to sustain an honest and free-from-graft governance.
“Salamat sa tanan nga nagsuporta kag nagkooperar agud aton makuha ini nga pagkilala. Sa mga kaupdanan naton sa Roxas City Government, padayon kita sa maayo, transparent kag wala korapsyon nga pangginobyerno nga nakasentro sa pag-amlig sa interes sang pumoluyo,” Dadivas said./PN
