GUIMARAS – A 31-year-old tricycle driver was collared in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sto. Rosario, Buenavista, Guimaras yesterday afternoon, July 5.
Brian Pracillo was a tokhang surrenderee and a resident of Barangay Navalas, Buenavista. He sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,200 to a police poseur buyer.
Five additional plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P27,000 were recovered.
The operation was conducted by the Buenavista Municipal Police Station together with the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit – Guimaras Police Provincial Office (PDEU-GPPO), headed by Police Major Kenneth Bermejo.
Bermejo said the suspect was under surveillance for weeks after the PDEU-GPPO received a tip that he had been allegedly selling shabu since coming back from Metro Manila./PN
