ILOILO – A dead man was found on the shoreline of Barangay Baguingin, Tigbauan, Iloilo.

Tigbauan Municipal Police Station (MPS) chief Police Captain Maryjane Panes said the body was not immediately unidentified when it was found on Saturday afternoon, July 8.

Na-confirm nila nga amo gid man to ang ila nga bata,” said Panes.

Sherwin Torrecampo, 32, a laborer and resident of Barangay Mañacabac, Janiuay, Iloilo, was positively identified by his family on Sunday, June 9.

The victim’s companions did not notice that Torrecampo was not in their transport vehicle on the way home, while others thought he went home ahead.

According to the Tigbauan MPS, the family was inclined to have Torrecampo’s body undergo an autopsy.
