ANTIQUE – A 68-year-old man was found lifeless in a river in Sitio Durog, Barangay Trinidad, San Remigio, Antique.
Sanny Gilua Solomon was married and a resident of Barangay Atabay, San Remigio.
Police Captain Dominick C. Parreño, officer-in-charge of the San Remigio Municipal Police Station, said a barangay tanod found Solomon on Wednesday morning, July 12.
He was last seen at the house of his daughter Milagros in Barangay Atabay on Tuesday afternoon, July 11, to celebrate his grandchild’s graduation. Solomon had been drinking, and around 3 p.m., he asked to go home.
The family believed he may have tried crossing the river, but due to being inebriated and the strong water current, the victim was swept away./PN
