ANTIQUE – A 23-year-old native of Barangay Semirara, Caluya was hailed Miss Grand Philippines 2023 second runner-up.
Charie Manalo Sergio was the sole candidate from Western Visayas that got into the pageant’s top 6 held on Thursday, July 13, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Sergio also bagged the Best in Long Gown award.
The Antique provincial government and the municipal government of Caluya commended Sergio’s win.
“Dungug kaw kang atun probinsya. Congratulations, and we are very proud of you,” read part of the provincial government’s message.
Before Miss Grand Philippines, Sergio was crowned Lin-Ay sang Semirara 2022 and Lin-Ay sang Caluya 2023.
