ILOILO City – Two police officers of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) tested positive for illegal drugs.
One was a Police Non-Commissioned Officer (PNCO) at the PRO-6 headquarters, said Brigadier General Sidney Villaflor, PRO-6 director.
Last week, a PNCO assigned to the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) also tested positive for illegal drugs.
The two police officers had already undergone further tests.
“They have the chance to defend themselves through confirmatory tests. This is part of the due process given to them,” said Villaflor.
The two cops were part of the 5,694 organic PRO-6 officers who underwent random drug tests.
Dapat sana ay 100 percent negative,” said Villaflor.
