ILOILO – The drug suspect arrested on Wednesday in Pototan town claimed enjoying police protection.
Robert Kristian “RK” P. Dacara, 38, collared in the town’s Barangay P. Ledesma Ward, was the No. 1 drug suspect in Pototan and the No. 4 priority target of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the province.
“Suno sa iya gahatag siya lima ka libo sa isa ka police officer baylo sang impormasyon. Kun may i-conduct nga operation i-inform niya ang tao nga ina [Dacara],” said Police Colonel Ronaldo Palomo, the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) director.
During his arrest, Dacara yielded more or less 85 grams of suspected shabu valued at P580,000.
“Di ko sure sang iya sini nga rangko, but he is a police officer,” Palomo said, adding that the police officer was already relieved when the director assumed office.
The IPPO will make a report on the said cop and forward it to Police Regional Office 6 director, Police Brigadier General Sidney Villaflor./PN
