Fire hits Bugasong biz stalls

ANTIQUE – An evening fire hit 10 business establishments in Barangay Centro Pojo (Poblacion area), Bugasong town on Sunday, July 23.

The fire allegedly started at the RTW stall of Francisco Marquez around 7 p.m., initial investigation of the Bugasong Municipal Police Station showed.

Nearby establishments that sell highly flammable materials, including a rubber footwear shop, a bakeshop, an eatery and a lechon stand, also caught fire. Most of the stalls were made of light materials.

The Bureau of Fire Protection-Bugasong declared a “fire out” around 9:30 p.m.

The investigation into the cause of the fire and the estimated cost of damages is ongoing./PN
