SYLVIA Sanchez organized a bridal shower for Maine Mendoza in anticipation of the actress’ eagerly awaited wedding with the seasoned screen veteran’s son Arjo Atayde.
Sanchez shared photos from the party on her Instagram page Monday night, July 24, showing a visibly delighted and pleasantly surprised Mendoza.
“Happy to welcome you to our big happy and crazy family. Soon!!! Mrs Maine Mendoza Atayde ka na,” Sanchez wrote in the caption.
“Can’t wait for the Big Day. Love you, my soon to be daughter in law,” she added.
Last month, Sanchez also shared photos from the night of their “pamamanhikan.”
“The Ataydes & Mendozas will soon merge as one family,” she wrote in the caption with a heart emoji.
Pamamanhikan is a Filipino tradition where the groom and his family formally asks the bride’s family for her hand in marriage.
The veteran actress has always shown her support for the couple.
In April, she posted a clip of the couple and thanked Maine for being Arjo’s adventure buddy.
