ANTIQUE – Six people were hurt in a collision between an ambulance and a Mitsubishi Mirage in Barangay District III, Sibalom around 12:05 a.m. yesterday, July 26.
Ambulance driver Ronnie Pelingon, 45; and passengers Marion Tahum, 40; Gerald Tahum, 28, all residents of Barangay Cubay Sermon, Sibalom; and Gregorio Vedia, 31, of Barangay Tigbalua, Sibalom sustained minor injuries.
Mitsubishi Mirage driver Molly Salvador, 23, of Barangay Ilabas, Sibalom, and passenger Grace Ann Paduganao, 23, of Barangay Imparayan, Sibalom, were brought to the town’s Ramon Maza Sr. Memorial District Hospital.
The ambulance was going to Barangay Odiong to pick up a patient when it was accidentally hit by the car going in the same direction.
Both parties agreed to settle, according to the Sibalom Municipal Police Station./PN
