ILOILO City – Western Visayas’ No. 1 most wanted person charged with rape was arrested in Barangay Dacutan, Dumangas, Iloilo.
The 35-year-old suspect, a resident of the place, was served with an arrest warrant on Wednesday afternoon, July 26.
He was specifically charged with rape by carnal knowledge with no bail bond, rape by sexual assault with P120,000 bail and lascivious conduct with P200,000 bail.
The complainant was the suspect’s now 18-year-old niece. The alleged rape by carnal knowledge and acts of lasciviousness happened sometime in 2016 while the rape by sexual assault happened sometime in 2017.
The suspect was collared by personnel of the Dumangas Police Station, Iloilo Provincial Police Office and 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company.
