BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental’s Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said his State of the Province Address (SOPA) will be a simple event.
Lacson will deliver his SOPA on Aug. 8 at the Session Hall of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
According to the governor, all department heads have submitted their respective accomplishment reports.
There will be no high-profile guests, he added.
Meanwhile, the governor hopes that no problems will arise with the food to be served to those attending the event.
It can be recalled that during the State of the City Address of Bacolod City’s Mayor Alfredo Benitez, complaints surfaced that guests were allegedly served spoiled food.
The event caterer later issued an apology. (Watchmen Daily Journal)
