ROXAS City – Seven suspects were arrested in an alleged drug den on Mckinley Street, Barangay 1 here.
Authorities also recovered nine sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the P500 marked money used in the buy-bust operation.
The suspects were Ema Villanueva, 43, of Barangay 9 but temporarily residing in Barangay 1; John Mark Dela Cruz, 36, of Dumangas, Iloilo but temporarily residing at Villanueva’s place; Irene Villasan, 42, of Barangay Agbabadiang, Panitan, Capiz; Jalil Ompac, 27, of Barangay 9; Kayma Polog, 38, of Barangay Tanque; Alex Magbanua, 46, of Barangay 1; and Abdul Fatah Polog, 40, of Barangay Tanque.
The operation was carried out by joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Capiz and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Capiz Police Provincial Office on Tuesday night, Aug. 8.
