ACTRESS Arci Muñoz has been named as one of the judges of Miss Universe Bahrain pageant to be held on Sept. 2.
This was confirmed by organizers of the said pageant on Instagram on Monday, Aug. 14.
“Meet the Official Jury of Miss Universe Bahrain 2023. It’s our honor to present one of the most sought-after and highly respected actresses in Asian film and TV industry – the superbly talented and incredibly stunning @ramonathornes,” their post read.
Arci, 34, also shared the exciting news with photos from a special shoot she did with celebrity photographer Seven Barretto.
“’Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe,’” she wrote.
“I’m humbled to be part of the #missuniversebahrain jury,” she said.
Aside from Arci, Filipino singer and former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Bailey May has also been tapped to judge this year’s Miss Universe Bahrain pageant.
The two will be joined by Moroccan actress Leila Hadioui, celebrity doctor Nader Saab, Smile Train Dubai manager Afaf Meky, Egyptian celebrity Mai Omar, and beauty guru Vimi Joshi.
Completing the panel are Mirihi Island Resort general manager Mohamed Shareef, creative director Ahmed El-Nekhaily, Lovin Dubai content director Casey Fitzgerald, and philanthropist Sameera Shah.
Filipino businessman Josh Yugen is the national director of Miss Universe Bahrain.
Aside from Bahrain, Yugen also owns the Miss Universe franchises in Egypt and Pakistan.
The Miss Universe Bahrain has unveiled its seven official finalists for the pageant. They are Advaita Shetty, Lujane Yacoub, Mariam Naji, Mary Mohamed, Menatalla Husein, Nivine Abouzeid, and Turina Carrol.
The winner of the Miss Universe Bahrain will represent the Gulf country at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador on Nov. 18. (PUSH)
