ILOILO – To cater to complaints or suggestions regarding enrollment, Oplan Balik Eskwela and Brigada Eskwela Week, the Schools Division of (SDO) Iloilo launched a complaint platform, “Ipalab-ot kay SDS”.

Dr. Ernesto F. Servillon Jr., SDO Iloilo superintendent, said parents, learners, teachers, and other stakeholders may send a message to 09619580507 or 09672511587 or email pac.sdoiloilo@deped.gov.ph.

“Open ina subong kag operational na, kag we foresee nga ma-cater kag ma-address ang needs and problems,” Servillon said.

A front desk at the entrance of the SDO Iloilo in La Paz, Iloilo City managed by the public assistance personnel is also open to assist or answer queries.

According to Servillon, most complaints were about enrollment fees in some schools, teachers not accepting enrollees, and lack of facilities.

“Wala man sang pagbag-o, that is why gina-agapan naton subong nga school year. Naga-conduct kita activities pareho sini. At least ma-prevent ang occurrence sang similar problems,” Servillon added.

How fast is the response/action?

According to Servillon, they will do their best based on the urgency of the need.

Once the Public Affairs Office under Leonil Salvilla, SDO Iloilo public information officer, receives a text or email, they will immediately note it and forward it to the concerned office.

The platform is open 24 hours to receive complaints and suggestions.

But Servillon said the public should also understand that a concern or suggestion cannot be catered to after 5 p.m. and will be addressed the following day.

“Daw indi matabu nga wala mabaton nga response because I will ensure nga aksyonan gid ina,” Servillon said.

In the meantime, their office cannot receive calls due to a lack of manpower./PN
