GUIMARAS – A woman died of stab wounds in Buenavista town. The suspect was her husband.
Lourdes Bilaong, 39, of Barangay Nazareth, Buenavista died on Thursday night, Aug. 24, while being treated at the Dr. Catalino Gallego Nava Provincial Hospital in Jordan town.
The victim and husband Jake, 39, argued over the latter’s alleged “third party”, according to Major Jefrey Ferrer.
The husband is now in the custody of the Buenavista police, awaiting decision of the victim’s family on whether or not to press charges.
The couple has two children — a 16-year-old and a five-year-old. Both were away from their house at the time of the incident./PN
