CAPIZ – A man was hacked in Purok 6, Barangay Aglalana, Dumarao, Capiz at 4:40 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4.
Ronil Masero Sabio, 45, a resident of the said barangay, had scars on his hand and shoulder.
Meanwhile, suspect Voney Capilera Lastimoso, 41, of Barangay Culyat, Valderrama, Antique, but temporarily living in Barangay Aglalana, is now in police custody.
Based on the initial investigation of the Dumarao Municipal Police Station, the victim was in a drinking session inside their house with Arnel Lastimoso when the suspect arrived and suddenly attacked Sabio with a bolo.
Lastimoso immediately ran away but was arrested by the police at 12:45 a.m. yesterday, Sept. 5./PN
