KIM Chiu admitted that she wasn’t invited to Maja Salvador’s wedding to Rambo Nuñez in Indonesia last July, although she clarified that they’re still on good terms up to this day.

In her Q&A vlog uploaded on her YouTube channel on Sept. 24, the “It’s Showtime” host answered a fan’s query as to why she was absent at Salvador’s wedding.

Hindi naman kami sobrang close na ni Maja and hindi na rin naman kami masyadong nag-uusap,” she said. “Siyempre, kapag kasal mo, gusto mo ‘yung mga taong gusto mo lang nandyan to witness your love sa partner mo. Hindi ako na-imbitahan.”

In a seeming attempt to avoid further controversies, Chiu said she’s “very happy” for the newlyweds and even sent a message to wish them well.

The “Linlang” star stressed that not being invited to someone’s wedding shouldn’t be seen as a big deal, saying that Salvador deserves to be happy on her special day.

Chiu and Salvador are known for being close friends until starring in the 2013 teleserye “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” after the latter became romantically involved with Gerald Anderson, who happened to be the former’s ex-boyfriend. Anderson and Salvador eventually split in 2015.

Both actresses eventually patched up their differences, with Salvador revealing in an interview that they’ve been on good terms since 2014. (Hannah Mallorca © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
