ANTIQUE – A drug pushing suspect was apprehended in a buy-bust operation in Purok 3, Barangay Ingwan-Batangan, in the municipality of Hamtic on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 27.
Hector Marzoña Hiponia, a 47-year-old resident of the barangay, was found in possession of approximately five grams of shabu with a standard market value of P34,000.
The operation was conducted by a joint team composed of personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Antique Provincial Office, Antique Police Provincial Office – Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and Hamtic Municipal Police Station.
Hiponia will face charges under Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
