CAPIZ – A farmer was stabbed in Sitio Bakante, Barangay Consolacion, Dumalag. The suspect was his drinking buddy.
Police identified the victim as alias “Pilo,” 71, while the suspect was alias “Eddie,” 55, both residents of the said barangay.
The Dumalag Municipal Police Station said the two were having a drinking session around 10 p.m. on Monday when an altercation ensued.
“Pilo” sustained a stab wound on his stomach and left hand. The Dumalag Emergency Response Team immediately responded, and the victim is currently recuperating at a hospital.
Meanwhile, “Eddie” is in the custody of Dumalag police, awaiting the victim’s decision whether to file charges or not./PN
