ILOILO – A garbage collector was believed to be a victim of accidental electrocution.
The 25-year-old Richard Alegre of Barangay Calaunan, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, died on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 11, while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Alegre was on a garbage truck performing his duties in a subdivision in Barangay Ungka II, Pavia when he came into contact with the main power source, according to Staff Sergeant Warren Talamor of Pavia police.
Aside from skin burns on his arm, he also hit his head from falling, added Talamor./PN
