KAPAMILYA actress Shaina Magdayao was quick to shut down several pregnancy rumors about her. She shared on her Instagram Stories earlier this week that none of these rumors are true and she won’t be denying it if ever the time comes.
Shaina is currently in South Korea for the 28th Busan International Film Fest for her film “Essential Truths of the Lake.”
The 33-year-old seasoned actress wanted to clarify with her friends and followers that the pregnancy rumors are all untrue. In the video she uploaded on her Instagram Stories, she drank a can of beer to prove that she wasn’t pregnant.
“So… Been getting messages from family and friends for days now about some FAKE news that’s going around back home! My goodness, I am not pregnant, people,” she wrote.
Shaina continued that she is “already of age” so she wouldn’t hide her pregnancy journey from the public.
“Will never deny if I were since I’m already of age noh! But nope, I ain’t preggers! Cheers from Busan,” she added.
Meanwhile, Shaina continues to share her experience in South Korea through her posts and stories. She joined the question and answer segment for the second screening of their film and expressed her joy in being in the prestigious film festival.
“It’s my very first time here at [the] Busan Film Festival so I am very honored to be part of the 28th [International Film Fest],” she said in front of the crowd.
She added: “We’re very grateful for the international film festivals and the support of our international viewers for allowing us to have a voice.”
“Essential Truths of the Lake is a film by veteran director Lav Diaz. It centers on an investigator who struggles to find a resolution to a 15-year-old case involving the disappearance of Esmeralda Stuart, an activist-artist known as “the Philippine Eagle,” who protested wearing a headdress and feathers.
Joining Shaina in this film is John Lloyd Cruz, who won the Boccalino d’Oro prize for Best Actor in his role as Lt. Hermes Papauran. (PUSH)
