ILOILO – Three individuals are currently being treated at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Iloilo City after their pickup truck fell into a 20-meter-deep ravine in Barangay Igcabugao, Igbaras at around 1 p.m. on Oct. 23.
The Toyota Hilux driver was identified as David Embiado, 38, while the passengers were Lymar Espora, 28, of the said town’s Barangay Alameda, and Ariel Faneuil Ederadan, 45, of Barangay Bagacay in the same town.
Lieutenant Martin Pugales, officer-in-charge of the Igbaras Municipal Police Station, said the driver lost control of the vehicle due to the narrow and hilly road.
The passengers were thrown out of the vehicle upon impact, sustaining various injuries./PN
