FILIPINO boxing champion Manny Pacuqio met football star Cristiano Ronaldo during a pre-match event for a boxing bout in Saudi Arabia.

Pacquiao was in Riyadh to attend the boxing match of Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury at the Boulevard Hall on Saturday, Oct. 28 (Riyadh time).

Pacquiao posted photos with Ronaldo on his Instagram page.

“Hey Ronaldo! @cristiano,” he wrote on social media.

TNT Sports Boxing also shared a clip of Pacquiao and Ronaldo’s interaction in Riyadh.

In the clip, Ronaldo exclaimed: “Hey Pacquiao!”

“I went to your last game,” Pacquiao told the football athlete.

Fans online were quick to express their excitement to see the two sports legends in one frame.

“Two legends in their respective fields,” one fan wrote.

“GOAT (Greatest of all Time) of boxing meets the GOAT of football,” another fan commented.

Pacquiao’s wife Jinkee also reacted to her husband’s photos with Ronaldo.

“Dream come true na unta! Sayanga oi wala ko sa picture makakita na unta ko nya. (Dream come true na sana. Sayang wala ako sa picture. Nakita ko na sana siya),” Jinkee  commented.

Ronaldo is currently playing for Saudi team Al Nassr. The football athlete signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the team. He debuted as part of Al Nassr  in January.

Aside from Ronaldo, Pacquiao also joined other boxing legends in Riyadh — including Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Oscar de la Hoya, and Ricky Hatton — to watch the Ngannou-Fury match.

“I am honored to be among the legends of the sport of boxing,” the former senator wrote as he shared his photo with his fellow boxers.

In an interview with Top Rank in Riyadh as reported by World Boxing News, Manny expressed his gratitude for having been invited to be a guest of honor in the Fury-Ngannou match.

The boxing champion hopes to hold a boxing match in Riyadh someday.

“This is my first time [in Saudi Arabia]. It’s so beautiful and nice to be here. I hope to come back here [maybe one day to fight],” he stated. (PUSH)
