ILOILO – A body of an adult male was found in a state of decomposition at the Sibalom River in Sitio Langka, Barangay Danao, Leon.
A farmer made the grim discovery on Sunday morning, Nov. 4.
In close proximity, law enforcement recovered a bag, a wallet with P27,000 cash and a lighter believed to have belonged to the deceased.
Police Lieutenant Danilo Noca, head of Leon Municipal Police Station, confirmed that the unidentified body has been sent to a local morgue to undergo a thorough postmortem examination. (With details from Bombo Radyo Iloilo)/PN
