ILOILO – In a joint effort of the Pavia Municipal Police Station Special Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) and the Iloilo Provincial Police Office (IPPO) Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), a street-level suspect was arrested.
Suspect “EJ” was collared after he handed a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange for P12,000 at approximately 11:10 p.m. in a subdivision in Barangay Jibao-an, Pavia, Iloilo.
More or less 20 grams of the illicit substance, with an estimated street value of P136,000, were also recovered.
The suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
