ILOILO – A confrontation between two inebriated individuals in the town of Dueñas has turned deadly.
Alias “Nicky,” a 27-year-old resident of Barangay Gemat-y, Passi City, was allegedly stabbed to death by suspect alias James, a 24-year-old resident of Barangay Lutugan, Igbaras.
According to Captain Jesus Batilante Jr. of Dueñas Municipal Police Station, the victim and the suspect were reportedly drinking together before the altercation past 9 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the town’s Barangay Poblacion A.
James was subsequently apprehended and placed in the custody of the municipal police. (With a report from Radyo Bandera Iloilo)/PN
