The Medical City Clinic Iloilo now open to serve the Ilonggo community

FURTHERING its commitment to delivering quality healthcare closer to communities, The Medical City Clinic (TMC Clinic) recently opened its 58th branch at SM City Iloilo.

Primarily serving as the outpatient arm of The Medical City network, TMC Clinic is an ambulatory clinic offering a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, from consultation to annual physical exams, laboratory tests, ultrasound, and X-rays.

The clinic’s opening at the mall’s lower ground floor on Nov. 24 was graced by TMC Clinic President and CEO Roberto “Bob” Muñoz and Medical Director Dra. Mariann Almajar. Tim CeeCee, the official mascot of TMC Clinic, was also introduced.

By taking the full spectrum of health services into consideration, patients can transition seamlessly between primary care physicians and specialists to support their needs. If there is a need for high-value services and sophisticated tests, look no further with its swift TMC Iloilo hospital referral and partnership with accredited health maintenance organizations.

“We have a hospital here, The Medical City Iloilo; thus, there is continuity of care from the clinic to the hospital in case patient admission is needed,” said Almajar. In the same light, Muñoz said, “That’s the difference—we are under the same network, and we cooperate with each other”.

With the clinic’s closer presence, active engagement with the community is assured, and the added value of patient partnership is fostered. A mall-based facility has made healthcare more accessible and convenient for those living in the metro as well as nearby communities.

“You can avail of all the services without moving to other locations. It saves you time; you can come here with much comfort,” the TMC Clinic President quipped.

This one-stop-shop clinic houses competent health professionals skilled in providing care over time and across specialties to offer a more unified approach.

And for a true Ilonggo amoma, “The Medical City Clinic Iloilo will be staffed by Ilonggos, as well as all our doctors. I am sure ‘yung kampante na Ilonggo pa rin ang mag-aalaga sa inyo nandito. But, of course, there is an added value of patient partnership, which will ensure better quality of care sa mga Ilonggo,” Almajar told Panay News.

Lastly, Muñoz assured that, through The Medical City Clinic Iloilo, Ilonggos’ well-being is put first and said, “We are here to serve you. And it is something we really hope to do, to be of service to the community.”/PN
