ILOILO City – Mayor Jerry Treñas has ordered to close down five business establishments in this city for lack of business permits on Friday, Dec. 1.
Personnel of the Task Force on Moral and Values Formation served the closure order to the following:
* Bonito Talabahan Refreshment/KTV Bar in Barangay Laguda, La Paz district
* Ambiance Resto Bar in Barangay Laguda, La Paz
* RK Barcode Tapsilogan/Resto Bar in Barangay Rizal, La Paz
* Tupaz Park in Barangay Rizal, La Paz
* T2 KTV Bar in Barangay Simon Ledesma, Jaro district
The said establishments failed to acquire business permits from the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) despite numerous reminders.
Their other violations include:
* not installing closed circuit television cameras
* unauthorized confiscation of health cards of their food handlers, servers or waiters
* bouncers did not undergo proper and formal training
Only after they have secured permits would they be allowed to resume their operations, the city government said./PN
