BACOLOD City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Negros Occidental has intensified its monitoring of the presence of party drugs in the province.
In a radio interview yesterday morning, PDEA-Negros Occidental officer Cornelio Espartero said they are currently verifying information regarding the possible entry of party drugs such as ecstasy.
He clarified, however, that in recent months they have not seized any party drugs, but they are actively promoting their programs against illegal drugs.
PDEA-Negros Occidental said proliferation of party drugs is possible especially with the many parties being held this December.
Espartero warned private companies planning events this month to strictly implement their policies in their offices to prevent the entry of illegal drugs. (Watchmen Daily Journal)/PN
