GUIMARAS – In honor and recognition of their services to their respective communities, particularly in the delivery of health programs and services, the provincial government of Guimaras gave a P2,000 cash incentive to all barangay health workers (BHWs).
Gov. Joaquin Carlos “JC” Rahman A. Nava, MD, led the distribution to 696 BHWs and 42 health volunteers during the 22nd BHW Congress last week at the provincial capitol gym in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan town.
