ROXAS CIity – The Roxas City Treasurer’s and Assesor’s offices were hailed as among the best in Western Visayas by the Department of Finance’s Bureau of Local Government Finance-Western Visayas for calendar year 2022.
The City Treasurer’s Office, headed by City Treasurer Mimi Riano, bagged the following recognition:
* Top 1 in all Component Cities in Region 6, Highest Locally Sourced Revenue in Business Tax and other Taxes.
* Top 2 Highest Locally Sourced Revenue in Economic Enterprise.
* Top 2 Highest Locally Sourced Revenue
* Top 3 Highest Locally Sourced Revenue in Fees and Charges
While the City Assessor’s Office, under the leadership of City Assesor Samuel Narcisco, was recognized as:
* Top 3 Highest Increase in Assessed Real Property Units
* Top 2 Highest Locally Sourced Revenue
