ILOILO City – Drug dealers are also preparing for the holiday season and the Dinagyang Festival next month, according to Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) director Colonel Joeresty Coronica.
He said this is reportedly the reason why illegal drugs recently recovered by the police during buy-bust operations have reached millions of pesos.
“Ining nagaalabot nga supply, para ni sa malaba-laba nga holiday kag in preparation also para sa Dinagyang Festival,” Coronica said.
The city police director added that drug dealers are taking advantage of their clients’ money, especially as many receive their bonuses in the last month of the year. (With a report from DYRI RMN Iloilo)/PN
