ILOILO City – Seventeen grams of suspected shabu valued at P115,000 were confiscated in a recent anti-illegal drug operation in Mina, Iloilo. Two drug suspects were also collared.
John Rey Balgos and Vincent Cordero were apprehended by elements of the Mina Municipal Police Station (MPS), joined by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit-Team 2 and the Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s Special Operations Group in Barangay Badiangan, Mina, at around 9:35 p.m. on Dec. 23.
Both arrested persons are now in the custody of Mina MPS and will face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
