Alexie Mae Brooks to represent Iloilo City in Miss Universe PH 2024

ILOILO City – It’s official – Miss Iloilo 2024 Alexie Mae Caimoso Brooks is this southern city’s representative to Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

The sashing ceremony was held at the SM City Iloilo Event Center on Saturday, Jan. 20.

Four other Miss Iloilo 2024 winners are also up for national pageants:

* Heartfelt Queen Nicklyn T. Jutay of Tigbauan town will represent Iloilo in the Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

* 2nd runner-up Shaima R. Al Yansuri of Guimbal was adjudged Miss Iloilo Paraw Regatta and will represent the city in Miss Philippines Earth.

* Heartfelt Queen Raniella Louise A. Aguila of Cabatuan will be the city’s bet for The Miss Philippines.

* Heartfelt Queen Angel Jed Z. Latorre of Santa Barbara was chosen as the Miss Iloilo Queen of Dinagyang 2024. She will be representing the city in Aliwan Fiesta’s Reyna ng Aliwan 2024.

Heartfelt Queen Hamda A. Judicpa of San Miguel and 1st runner-up Pearl Angel R. Franco of Ajuy were both Ambassadress of Heartfelt Beauty.

Shortly after the sashing ceremony, the Miss Iloilo issued an official statement on its Facebook page that Judicpa will not yet be representing Iloilo in any national pageant due to eligibility concerns.

It added that Judicpa has agreed to reserve her representation for the following year.

“This is to officially inform the public that due to the eligibility requirements of different national pageants, Miss Iloilo Heartfelt Beauty, Ms. Hamda Judicpa, will not yet be representing Iloilo City in any national pageant for Year 2024. Miss Iloilo and Ms. Judicpa have mutually agreed to reserve her representation for the following year,” read part of the statement./PN
