KATRINA Halili is grieving the death of her boyfriend, former Wao, Lanao Del Sur vice mayor Jeremy Guiab.
On Instagram, the Kapuso actress posted a photo of Jeremy with the bright sun in the background.
Katrina said in her caption, “Ang daya mo Love, sabi mo aalagaan mo kami ni Katie.”
“Bakit iniwan mo kami?” she added.
The comments section was filled with Katrina’s fellow artists giving their condolences, such as Kris Bernal, Jackie Lou Blanco, Carla Abellana, Camille Prats, and many more.
Quezon City councilor Don De Leon announced the passing of “my best friend, my brother, my confidant and partner” Jeremy on Instagram.
“Jeremy G. Guiab succumbed to a fatal heart attack at around 5:00 PM today. Together with his family, we ask for prayers, for his soul’s eternal rest with our Lord. A precious life gone too soon,” he said.
According to a report on PEP, Jeremy died on Jan. 28 at 53 years old after suffering a heart attack in Katrina’s home in Quezon City. The actress then rushed Jeremy to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City where he was declared dead.
Katrina has a daughter named Katie with ex-boyfriend, singer Kris Lawrence. The former couple currently has a co-parenting setup.
In July 2003, Katrina revealed that she had a boyfriend. Without naming him, she said he helped her in raising Katie.
Katrina is one of the stars of “Black Rider,” her action series comeback. The series is top-billed by Ruru Madrid. (GMA Integrated News)
