ROXAS City – A 50-year-old man was arrested on the night of April 8, 2024, for alleged illegal sale of an unlicensed firearm in Barangay Banica here.

Identified only by his alias “Dado”, the unemployed suspect was taken into custody following a sting operation led by Police Captain Rey Dordas at approximately 10:44 p.m.

The suspect, a resident of Dorado Subdivision, Barangay Inzo Arnaldo, sold a homemade .38 revolver to an undercover police officer for P2,600.

This was seized, and so were four .38 cartridges, a black holster, a red sling bag, and the marked money used in the operation.
