GUIMARAS – A house was destroyed when a fire broke out in Purok 4, Barangay McLain, Buenavista town in this island province around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16.
The house owned by the Gumarin family was made of light materials, according to Senior Fire Officer 3 Samuel Bautista, acting municipal fire marshal.
Bautista added that Gumarin family’s jeepney and a motorcycle that was parked nearby also caught fire.
The blaze left an estimated P225,000 in damage.
Authorities were conducting further investigation into the cause of the blaze as of this writing./PN
