ANTIQUE – An evening fire totally gutted a house, beauty parlor and restaurant while a ready-to-wear (RTW) store was partially damaged in Barangay Poblacion, Belison town.
Fire Officer 2 Felirose M. Siladan of the Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) – Belison, said the fire was electrical in nature, but they have yet to determine where the blaze originated.
The fire started around 9:17 p.m. and a “fire out” was declared around 10:15 p.m. following the immediate response of fire trucks from the Patnongon Fire Station, Sibalom Fire Station, San Jose Fire Station, and Sibalom Fire Volunteer Brigade.
Siladan added no casualties or serious injuries were reported.
As of this writing, the BFP-Belison was still investigating the cause and extent of damage of the fire./PN
