ROXAS City – Fourteen grams of suspected shabu valued at around P95,200 were seized from a senior citizen in Barangay Culasi here on Monday, May 6.
The 60-year-old alias “Mon,” a resident of the aforementioned city, was caught after handing over a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P3,000.
Police Colonel Francisco Paguia, chief of the Roxas City Police Station, said the buy-bust operation was carried out by the Roxas City police, Capiz Police Provincial Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Regional Office 6’s Intelligence Unit.
The suspect was detained at the Roxas City Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)./PN
