GUIMARAS – The newly inaugurated tourism and transport hub at the provincial capitol grounds in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan town will serve as a convenience hub for tourists visiting this island-province.
The facility features amenities including restrooms, complete with provisions for persons with disabilities.
Gov. JC Rahman A. Nava and Uswag Ilonggo party-list’s Rep. James “Jojo” Ang led the inauguration ceremony on Monday, May 20.
The tourism and transport hub, Nava said, is a testament that cooperation accelerates the completion of every project.
The party-list allocated P5 million for the project while the Guimaras Provincial Government provided the additional fund for the completion of the facility.
The governor also shared that Ang will also provide P80 million for the construction of the Guimaras Arena and Convention Center./PN
