ACTRESS Judy Ann Santos is back with exciting projects along her way.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Friday, June 7, some of her much-awaited projects are those she agreed to do to give way to her role as a mother and a wife to her family.
“Actually, malaking factor rin ang material itself, ‘yun talaga kasi ‘yun ang nagdidikta sa akin kung would this be worth it ba na medyo mas madalas akong wala sa bahay, uuwi akong tulog na ang pamilya ko, and of course ngayon mas doable kasi malalaki na ang mga bata, kaya na nila, and siyempre at some point, kailangan mo rin gawin ‘yung nami-miss mo kasi hindi naman ako magsisinungaling na hindi ko nami-miss umarte…,” Santos said.
The actress also revealed that she thinks of her family first before accepting projects which she misses doing as an actress.
Santos also has high hopes to be part of the 50th edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) with her upcoming horror movie project to be directed by Chito S. Roño.
“Yes. Horrror with direk Chito Rono, hopefully matuloy, hindi pa ako makapag — or I can’t give any confirmation yet kasi may hinihintay pang something. So mayroon pang final approval and official list of entry…, but I am hoping na matuloy ‘yung movie namin ni direk Chito. Ang tagal na naming hindi nakakagawa ng pelikula, ang tagal ko na ring hindi nakakagawa ng horror film and my last movie for MMFF was ‘Mindanao’ and that was five years ago. So hindi ko akalain na it’s the 50th year of Metro Manila Film Festival, so it’s very, very special and pinagdarasal ko pa rin na sana matuloy kasi it’s nice to be part of that historical event,” she said.
