BACOLOD City – A man was fatally shot by two unidentified gunmen outside his house in Sitio Hilis Cebuanohan, Purok 16, Barangay Inayawan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental on Sunday evening, June 9.
The 32-year-old laborer Ryan Monte succumbed to gunshot wounds on his head and chest, according to Police Major Gary Alan Resuma, chief of the Cauayan Municipal Police Station.
Resuma said two men suddenly arrived and shot the victim multiple times.
The police chief added that they are looking at personal grudge as the motive behind the killing.
As of this writing, Cauayan police have yet to identify the gunmen. Investigation was ongoing./PN
