CAPIZ – A delivery truck figured in an accident on Thursday morning, August 15, on Hemingway Street, Barangay Tiza, Roxas City.
Driver Winnie Ayusa, 51, and a resident of the city’s Barangay Baybay, was injured while his three companions – Miko Barigon, Arnel Bagaris and Joebel Asis – were unharmed.
According to the Roxas City Police Station, the truck hit a cable wire causing it to turn turtle.
Personnel of the city’s Bureau of Fire Protection and Roxas City Emergency Response Team brought the driver and his companions to the hospital.
In an interview, Ayusa said he did not notice the cable wire and when he hit it he lost control of the steering wheel./PN
