BACOLOD City – Palarong Pambansa champion secondary girls softball team has decided to stay at the Domingo Lacson National High School (DLNHS) after they were assured of support.
The management of the school through Bacolod Schools Division Superintendent Gemma Ledesma gave the assurance that Mayor Monico Puentevella would be sustaining the team.
The beleaguered softball team started looking for a host school after they were initially informed that the new administration of DLNHS would not support them.
Esteban Albacea, the former school principal, has retired.
Bacolod City National High School recently announced it was willing to absorb the Palarong Pambansa secondary girls softball champion.
But at the last minute, DLNHS assured the team of continued support.
The multi-title softball team won the 2014 Philippine National Games softball tournament recently./PN
