ILOILO City – A high-value drug suspect was arrested in Barangay Igang, Pototan town.
The 39-year-old alias “Rey”, a resident of the said place, yielded around 65 grams of suspected shabu worth approximately P442,000 in a buy-bust operation around 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 12.
The operation was carried out by joint operatives of the Pototan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit.
The suspect was detained at the Pototan MPS.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) would be filed against him./PN
