ILOILO – Police arrested a 41-year-old man during a raid in his house in Barangay Aglalana, Passi City in this province.
Armed with a search warrant, Passi City police recovered 12-gauge shotgun, caliber .38 revolver and hand grenade from alias “Lando” on Monday night, September 16.
Lieutenant Benjo Clarite of the Passi City Police Station said the raid was carried out following complaints of several residents against the suspect for allegedly firing and carrying a firearm in public.
Clarite added that the said firearms were unlicensed.
The suspect was detained at the Passi City Police Station. He is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
