Firenze, property giant Megaworld’s Italian-themed 22-story residential condo development in Iloilo Business Park, bested condominium developments in the Visayas by winning the “Best Condo Development in Visayas” award at the 12th Philippines Property Awards by leading regional property listing portal and publication PropertyGuru.

The Megaworld Visayas team, led by Jennifer Palmares-Fong (center), senior vice president for sales and marketing, received the recognition for Firenze Residences during the Philippine Property Awards gala event. Also shown in photo are sales division heads (from left) Jan Michael Contreras (Mactan, Cebu), Lelaine Cordero (Iloilo), Regina Roxas (Mactan, Cebu), and Gilbert Montebon (Bacolod).

The prestigious award was one of 35 recognitions that Megaworld won during the event, where the company emerged as the most awarded real estate developer, eventually being named this year’s Best Developer for Visayas. Megaworld also brought home two inaugural ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) awards for Sustainable Design and Energy Efficiency, and swept all operational portfolio categories for its hotel, office, and retail segments.

“Firenze is Megaworld’s latest standout project inspired by the City of Florence in Italy, which is famous for its beautiful gardens and Renaissance art and architecture. There remains a strong demand for this kind of thematic residential concept and we are honored that this latest project is recognized as the best in the whole of Visayas,” says Jennifer Palmares-Fong, first vice president for sales and marketing, Megaworld Visayas.

Another Megaworld residential condo, the Parisian-themed 10-story Saint Honore, also received a Highly Commended citation at the “Best Condo Interior Design” category.

A landscaped garden filled with shrubs, flowering plants, and small trees will allow residents to enjoy the open space while savoring views of the surrounding township.
Colorful shrubs and flowers will fill outdoor spaces, like this trellis walk, at the fifth level amenity area of Firenze.

Prior to Firenze,  Megaworld already launched six residential developments inside Iloilo Business Park, namely One Madison (three towers), Lafayette Parksquare, The Palladium, Saint Honore, Saint Dominique, The Pinnacle.

Future residents of Firenze can host intimate gatherings and celebrations at the bi-level private dining area, which comes equipped with various amenities like a bar, pantry, and a full dining set

Aside from these, Iloilo Business Park is also home to 11 office buildings offering around 182,000 square meters of leasable office spaces, in which three are still under construction. The township also has two existing first-class business hotels: the 149-room Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, and the 326-room Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo. A third hotel, Belmont Hotel Iloilo, will open very soon and will have 405 rooms.

Residents will be welcomed to an airy gold and marble-accented lobby, which reflects a modern take on the traditional Roman design motif.

In 2018, Iloilo Business Park also won the Best Township Development in Asia at the Asia Property Awards in Bangkok, Thailand.
